Added serial RPC transport and lots more...
Added RPC function to get server version number.
Substantially reworked GNUMakefile with conditionals.
Renamed rpc_*() and xdr_*() to hal_*() for consistency.
Moved hal_io_fmc.c from stm32 repo.
